← Back to Lineup Card ProThe things coaches ask most. If yours is not here, contact us.
Give it your roster, with the positions each player can play and how many innings the game has, and press Generate Lineup. It fills every position in every inning and writes the batting order; click any two players to swap them. Turn on equal playing time and every player sits the same number of innings; set a minimum of infield innings and nobody is left in the outfield all game.
Yes. Baseball and softball use the same nine positions and the same fairness rules, so the generator makes no distinction. Set the number of innings your league plays and it builds the card to fit.
From the hitting and speed ratings you give each player until you have stats, and from the stats once you do: who gets on base and who hits for extra bases. The best hitters take the top of the order, the ones with power bat third and fourth, and everybody bats. Click any two players to swap their spots afterwards.
One team, with every lineup feature:
Nothing about making a lineup is behind a paywall, and printing never is.
No. The app works signed out, and everything stays on the device you are using. Signing in syncs your teams and games between your phone, tablet and computer — and it is what a subscription attaches to, so it is worth doing before you buy.
If you bought without being signed in, the purchase is attached to the email address you typed at checkout rather than to an account. Open the account drawer and use Bought PRO before signing in? Restore it — it emails you a link that brings PRO back.
If the purchase turns out to be on an account you can still sign into, the app says so and names it rather than moving anything. Sign in there and PRO comes with it.
If you bought on your phone through the App Store, use Restore purchases in the same place instead.
A subscription bought on the web is cancelled from the customer portal — the drawer links to it, and so does every receipt email. One bought through the App Store or Google Play is cancelled in your store account, under Subscriptions. Cancelling leaves PRO running until the date you have already paid for.
Open the account drawer from the icon at the top right, and use Delete account. It removes the account and everything in it — every team and game, on this device and on the server — and it cannot be undone.
Two things to do first. Export your teams from the same drawer if you want to keep them; nothing is recoverable afterwards. And cancel a PRO subscription separately — deleting the account does not cancel it, and it will go on renewing. See How do I cancel? above.
Nothing is deleted, ever. Your teams, games and rosters stay exactly where they are. A free account can open one of its teams and every game already saved goes on saving — the limits apply to making new things, not to keeping what you have. Subscribe again and everything is there.
Yes. It follows the account rather than the device, so sign in on each one and PRO is there.
Yes, with PRO. Open the team, go to Coaches, and invite a coach as Can view orCan edit. You get a code to send them; it works for seven days. They sign in to Lineup Card Pro on their own device — a free account is enough, they do not need PRO — tap their profile, and enter it in the Have a code?box. The team appears in their list, and from then on everyone sees the same roster, games and lineups.
Can view coaches see everything and can print it, but change nothing. Can edit coaches can also change the roster and make, edit and save games — the team’s name, colors and logo stay yours. Up to three coaches per team. You can change a coach’s permissions or remove them at any time, and a coach can leave the team whenever they like.
On the device, always. Signed in, a copy is kept in the cloud so your devices agree — which also means the app works at a field with no signal, and catches up when it has one.
First sign into an account, then enter it in the account drawer under Get PRO. A code is for a person rather than a browser, so it needs an account it can be attached to.
The import expects a GameChanger export for a game you have already saved, and matches on the date and opponent. If it cannot find the game, check that the one on the device has the same date as the one in the file.
Contact us. Tell us what the app said and what you expected — that is nearly always enough to find it.
